UNHCR position paper: call for suspension of Dublin transfers to Bulgaria

On 3 January 2014, UNHCR issued a position paper in which it calls on States participating in the Dublin Regulation to temporarily suspend transfers of asylum-seekers back to Bulgaria. UNHCR has concluded that, despite progress in recent years, and improved reception conditions over the past few weeks, asylum-seekers in Bulgaria still face a genuine risk of inhuman or degrading treatment due to systemic deficiencies in reception conditions and asylum procedures.

    I request from europion union and UNHCR that i dont wana go back to bulgharia i give my asylum here in hungary and i am happy here there is so much problems for refugees in bulgharia we dont have place to stay there we dont have foods to eat we was sleepings on the roads in the cold weather there is nothing in bulgharia for refugees …..

    Think about these problems of refugees in bulgharia no food no place to stay kindly kindly request from europion union and UNHCR that they shouldnt send us back to bulgharia …
